Description
Based on the internet horror phenomenon — an endless series of flickering, fluorescent-lit liminal spaces that seem to exist between realities — Backrooms marks the feature debut of director Kane Parsons, whose original short film went viral and caught the eye of A24. Starring Chiwetel Ejiofor and Renate Reinsve in a terrifying exploration of the unknown spaces behind the walls of the world, the film takes the mythology of the Backrooms to its most unsettling extremes.
