Description
A controlling couple raise their three adult children in complete isolation on a walled estate, inventing a private language and a fictional world of dangers outside the fence. Yorgos Lanthimos's breakthrough feature is a coldly precise, darkly comic provocation about power, language, and the violence of family. Winner of the Un Certain Regard prize at Cannes and nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
