Description
Meiko Kaji's 1972 debut album stands as a landmark of Japanese kayokyoku, capturing the era's smoky romanticism and the aching stoicism she brought to her most iconic film roles. Originally produced for the Teichiku label and now making its first appearance outside Japan via WEWANTSOUNDS, this reissue was cut directly from the original master tapes with liner notes by Hashim Kotaro Bharoocha. Essential listening for fans of Japanese cinema and vintage J-pop.
