Description
Leonard (Guy Pearce) is hunting the man who murdered his wife, but suffers from anterograde amnesia and cannot form new memories. He navigates the world through Polaroid photographs and tattoos inked onto his own body. Christopher Nolan tells the story in reverse chronological order, placing the audience inside Leonard's disorientation. A landmark of structural storytelling and one of the defining psychological thrillers of its era.
