The concluding chapter of Québec composer Mathieu David Gagnon's trilogy, released in April 2026, weaves analog synthesizers and string orchestra into pieces inspired by the St. Lawrence River and the natural world surrounding it. More deeply collaborative than its predecessors, with compositions developed through live residencies before recording, it is a patient and luminous work that sees Flore Laurentienne's sound grow richer and more assured at every turn.
