Description
From Academy Award-nominated director Mamoru Hosoda (Mirai, Summer Wars) comes a tender, modern fairy tale about motherhood and growing up. College student Hana falls in love with a mysterious man who turns out to be a wolf, and together they raise two children, Yuki and Ame, who are both human and wolf.
When tragedy leaves Hana on her own, she leaves the city for a weathered farmhouse in the countryside, where her children can grow up free to decide which path to follow. Beautifully animated and set to a moving score by Masakatsu Takagi, Wolf Children is a sweeping story of family, sacrifice and self-discovery.
