Debut studio album from Forest Hills' Ramones. Their eponymous debut was originally released in 1976 and features some of the band's most recognized songs. It was a stark contrast to the bloated prog rock that plagued the 70s. The album's short bursts of concentrated rock 'n' roll won over a legion of fans and saved punk from getting swallowed up by the art world. Who could resist an album filled with songs like "Beat On The Brat," "I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend," "Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue," and Blitzkrieg Bop?" Fourteen tracks in all. Released by Sire on 180 gram vinyl housed in a replica sleeve with printed inner sleeve.
