Max Clarke's fourth album as Cut Worms was produced by Jeff Tweedy at Wilco's legendary Loft studio in Chicago, a collaboration that came together after Clarke opened for Wilco on tour in 2024. Darker and more emotionally direct than his earlier work, the record explores dislocation and the cost of modern connectivity, with warm guitar tones and timeless melodic instincts shaped by Tweedy's light-handed but clarifying production touch.
