Description
A stoner private eye in late-1960s Los Angeles takes on a case involving his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend, a missing billionaire, and a shadowy criminal syndicate. Paul Thomas Anderson's adaptation of Thomas Pynchon's novel is deliberately bewildering and absolutely hilarious: a film about the end of the Sixties dream, soaked in paranoia and nostalgia.
