Description
A reclusive former movie star recounts her life to a documentary crew, blurring the line between memory and cinema as scenes from her past flow seamlessly into the films she once starred in. Directed by Satoshi Kon, Millennium Actress is a visually inventive and emotionally resonant anime that weaves romance, history, and identity into a dreamlike reflection on storytelling and the passage of time.
