Description
When his girlfriend disappears at a motorway rest stop, a young Dutch man becomes consumed by the need to know what happened to her — even as the knowledge will destroy him. George Sluizer's Spoorloos — the original Dutch-French version, not the American remake — is one of the most disturbing and formally inventive thrillers ever made, its final image impossible to shake.
