Description
A professional safecracker (James Caan) who operates with meticulous independence is pressured into working for the Chicago mob — and finds that the life of freedom and normalcy he has planned for himself is incompatible with the one he's built. Michael Mann's feature debut is a landmark of American crime cinema: cool, precise, and ravishingly shot, with a pulsing Tangerine Dream score.
