Description
Billy Brown (Vincent Gallo) is released from prison and, having told his parents he's been away because he got married, kidnaps a young tap dancer named Layla (Christina Ricci) to play the role of his wife for a family visit. Written, directed, and scored by Gallo, Buffalo '66 is an unclassifiable American original — part painful family comedy, part unlikely love story, part hallucinatory art-film — shot in a gorgeous three-strip colour process that gives it the quality of a feverish memory.
