Description
Halcyon Digest is Deerhunter's fifth studio album, released on September 27, 2010, and met with universal acclaim. It marked the band’s first album distributed solely by 4AD worldwide, with production by the band and Ben H. Allen, and recording at Chase Park Transduction in Athens, Georgia, with engineer David Barbe. The final track, "He Would Have Laughed," recorded separately by Bradford Cox, is a heartfelt tribute to Jay Reatard.
This album also happens to be the band's last with bassist Josh Fauver.
While the cover's pleading figure might seem to beg for your attention, you should already be listening.
