Search for the New Land is a 1964 album by jazz trumpeter Lee Morgan, recorded with regular Blue Note sidemen. Although it was recorded before The Sidewinder, it was shelved for two years and released in 1966 with the original catalogue number 84169. The album reached #16 on Billboard's "Black Albums" chart and #143 on the "Pop Albums" chart.
