Murray A. Lightburn, frontman of Montreal's The Dears, announces his third solo album, Once Upon A Time In Montreal, set for release on March 31 via Dangerbird Records. Inspired by the passing of his father, a jazz musician from Belize who moved to Montreal via New York to reconnect with his teenage sweetheart, the album reflects their 56-year marriage until his father's death in April 2020 in a Quebec nursing home due to Alzheimer’s.
