Description

After the Zombies disbanded in 1968, Blunstone briefly left music but returned following the unexpected success of "Time of the Season." One Year was recorded between 1970 and 1971, co-produced by former Zombies members Rod Argent and Chris White. Some tracks were re-recorded versions of songs from the final days of the Zombies. The album reflects a year in Blunstone's life, including his breakup with actress Caroline Munro, which inspired the song "Caroline, Goodbye."
