Description
A film producer and his wife become entangled in a subculture of people erotically obsessed with automobile accidents. David Cronenberg's unflinching adaptation of J. G. Ballard's controversial novel — winner of the Special Jury Prize at Cannes — is one of the boldest and most formally rigorous films in his career: a cold, symmetrical, deeply strange work about technology, sex, and death.
