Description
A documentary film crew follows and films the day-to-day activities of a serial killer named Ben (Benoît Poelvoorde) as he charms, philosophises, and murders his way through Belgium. One of the most confrontational films ever made, C'est arrivé près de chez vous (Man Bites Dog) blurs the line between observer and participant as the crew is slowly drawn into Ben's crimes — a searing, darkly comedic critique of violence, media complicity, and the voyeuristic pleasure of watching. Shot in stark black and white by directors Rémy Belvaux, André Bonzel, and Benoît Poelvoorde.
