A gloriously unhinged concept album about a mysterious figure named Milkman, delivered with the band's trademark collision of jagged noise and disarmingly sweet pop melody. Satomi Matsuzaki's childlike vocals float over rhythms that lurch and explode in ways that shouldn't work but absolutely do. One of the most purely strange and joyful records of the 2000s indie underground.
