Wild God is an album written by Nick Cave beginning on New Year’s Day 2023, recorded at Miraval Studios in Provence and Soundtree in London, and produced by Cave and Warren Ellis. The album features contributions from Colin Greenwood of Radiohead and Luis Almau, with mixing by David Fridmann. Influenced by the band’s 2022 European tour, the album captures a full-band aesthetic and themes of experimentation, with the title chosen in November 2023 as a reflection of its powerful and mysterious nature.
