Description
Mina's landmark 1971 self-titled album — sometimes called 'L'album della scimmia' for its distinctive monkey cover — marked the transition from Augusto Martelli to Pino Presti as arranger. A refined, homogeneous record blending Italian pop, covers of international standards, and originals written especially for her, it produced two major hits: 'Amor mio' (written by Battisti and Mogol) and 'Grande grande grande.'
