Description
Heart Food is the second studio album by American singer-songwriter Judee Sill, released by Asylum in March 1973. Though it garnered critical acclaim, its sales were modest. Sill took the reins for writing, arranging, and producing the album herself. Like her debut, Judee Sill, it was reissued by Rhino Records in 2003, complete with new liner notes and additional demos and unreleased tracks.
While her debut was a perfectly cohesive masterpiece, this one brings even more sprawl and range—if you thought she couldn’t outdo herself, think again.
