12 Conversations is the final studio collaboration between Ryuichi Sakamoto and Alva Noto (Carsten Nicolai), completed before Sakamoto's passing in March 2023. Released posthumously in 2026, the album unfolds across twelve numbered dialogues — spare, luminous exchanges between piano and electronics that distill decades of creative partnership into something quietly monumental.
