Description
Mario Bava's landmark giallo — considered the blueprint for the slasher genre — follows a masked killer stalking and murdering beautiful fashion models at a Rome couture house. Stunning in its primary-colour lighting and baroque set design, Blood and Black Lace established the aesthetic template for decades of Italian genre cinema and the American slasher films that followed.
