Description
Billy Peltzer (Zach Galligan) receives a mysterious creature called a Mogwai as a Christmas gift — along with three strict rules that he inevitably breaks. What follows is Joe Dante's gleefully anarchic horror-comedy, produced by Steven Spielberg, which transforms the small American town of Kingston Falls into a battleground for a horde of screeching, malevolent gremlins. Part monster movie, part satire of 1980s consumerism, and wholly entertaining, Gremlins remains one of the defining genre films of its decade.
