Harumi Ando's self-titled 1968 double LP is one of the great lost records of the psychedelic era — a Japanese-American singer whose elaborately orchestrated songs of innocence and surrealism were released on Tower Records and then vanished, only to resurface as a prized collector's item. Earth Recordings' 2LP black vinyl reissue finally gives this idiosyncratic masterwork its due.
