Description
A Swedish detective investigating a murder in northern Norway during a period of perpetual daylight accidentally shoots his partner and begins to lose his grip on reality. Erik Skjoldbjaerg's original — the source for Nolan's 2002 remake — is a superior psychological thriller, colder and more morally ambiguous than its Hollywood descendant.
