Produced by Bob Thiele in 1966, it pairs Hooker's hypnotic Delta guitar with a refined sophistication that never dulls his raw edge. This audiophile reissue is part of Verve's Acoustic Sounds Series, pressed on 180g vinyl from the original analog tapes.
