Description
Andrew Dominik's stylized, politically charged crime film stars Brad Pitt as Jackie Cogan, a mob enforcer brought in to restore order after a low-level poker game is robbed. Set against the backdrop of the 2008 financial crisis and election, the film uses its genre bones to make pointed observations about American capitalism and the economy of violence.
