Description
Alonso Ruizpalacios' beautifully observed drama, shot in radiant black-and-white, is set entirely in the industrial kitchen of a busy New York restaurant over the course of a single day, following Pedro (Raúl Briones), an ambitious Mexican cook, as the pressure of service and the complexities of his relationship with a young American waitress (Rooney Mara) reach a breaking point.
