Description
David Cronenberg's audacious adaptation of William S. Burroughs' supposedly unfilmable novel stars Peter Weller as exterminator Bill Lee, who accidentally kills his wife and flees to the hallucinogenic Interzone — a dreamscape populated by giant talking insects and shifting identities, loosely drawn from the circumstances of Burroughs' own life. An extraordinary piece of literary cinema.
