Description
A double-bill collecting Shane Carruth's two extraordinary science-fiction films. Primer (2004, 77 min) is an astonishing ultra-low-budget debut in which two engineers accidentally invent a time machine and begin exploiting it — with increasingly complex consequences. Upstream Color (2013, 96 min) is a more lyrical, impressionistic work about two people bound together by a mysterious parasite, featuring Carruth's hypnotic score.
