Description
A guide leads a writer and a professor through the forbidden Zone — a mysterious region where the laws of nature are suspended and at its center, a room that reportedly grants one's deepest desires. Andrei Tarkovsky's most mysterious and formally austere film is an experience rather than a narrative — a meditative journey through longing, faith, and the limits of human purpose, shot in extraordinary textured light.
