A previously unissued gem from Resonance Records, capturing pianist Mal Waldron live at Chicago's Jazz Showcase in August 1979 alongside bassist Steve Rodby (later of the Pat Metheny Group), drummer Wilbur Campbell, and special guest saxophonist Sonny Stitt. Released exclusively for Record Store Day 2026, the 2LP set was mastered from the original analog tapes at The Mastering Lab and pressed at Le Vinylist in Quebec. An essential archival document from one of jazz's most quietly profound pianists.
