Description
A man discovers that his wife, undergoing an extreme form of psychotherapy at a remote clinic, has been giving birth to mutant children — the physical manifestations of her rage — who begin murdering those she holds responsible for her psychological wounds. David Cronenberg's most autobiographically raw film is a ferocious horror movie about divorce, custody, therapy, and the violence inside the family unit.
