Description
Martin Scorsese's sequel to The Hustler stars Paul Newman (reprising his role as Fast Eddie Felson, for which he won the Academy Award) as an ageing pool shark who takes a cocky young talent named Vincent (Tom Cruise) under his wing, only to find himself drawn back to the competitive world he abandoned. A beautifully observed portrait of age, ambition, and the seduction of skill.
