Description
An American student in 1968 Paris becomes entwined in the lives of a French twin brother and sister who are equally obsessed with cinema and with each other, as the student revolution builds outside their apartment windows. Bernardo Bertolucci's uncompromising, sensual film (presented in its uncut NC-17 form) is both a love letter to cinema and a portrait of a historical moment balanced on the edge of rupture.
