Description
Five friends visiting a rural Texas property encounter a family of cannibals. Tobe Hooper's debut remains one of the most viscerally effective horror films ever made: a grimy, relentless assault on the senses that somehow, despite its title, shows remarkably little gore. The atmosphere of sweating, buzzing, heat-sick dread is unmatched.
