Description
A man collecting insects in the sand dunes near the sea misses the last bus and is persuaded to spend the night in the home of a woman who lives in a large pit in the dunes. Hiroshi Teshigahara's existentialist masterpiece is one of the most sensuous and philosophically rich films ever made.
