Description
A Czech immigrant in 1960s America is slowly going blind and works to save money for an operation to preserve her son's sight. Lars von Trier's Palme d'Or winner uses Bjork's extraordinary performance and Bjork's own songs to create something genuinely devastating: a musical tragedy that earns every tear.
