Description
Tim Burton's tender, funny, and wholly affectionate portrait of Edward D. Wood Jr. (Johnny Depp), widely regarded as the worst filmmaker who ever lived. Shot in gorgeous black and white, the film follows Wood's determination to make his strange, cheaply produced movies in 1950s Hollywood, accompanied by his loyal troupe of misfits including an ageing, morphine-addicted Bela Lugosi (Martin Landau, Academy Award winner). A love letter to outsider artists everywhere — and one of Burton's finest films.
