Description
A French blacksmith travels to the Crusades and finds himself defending Jerusalem. Ridley Scott's director's cut — running 194 minutes — is a substantially better and more morally serious film than the theatrical release: a medieval epic with genuine ideas about religion, politics, and what it means to be a good person in a bad world.
