Music from the Penguin Cafe is the debut studio album by the Penguin Cafe Orchestra, recorded between 1974 and 1976 and released in 1976. Initially credited to Simon Jeffes, the album features tracks by the original "Penguin Café Quartet" and the ensemble "Zopf." Produced by Brian Eno and released on his Obscure label, the album's cover was designed by John Bonis (original) and Emily Young (reissue). It was later included in 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die and reissued in 1991 and 2006.<.p>
