Description
Two women named Veronique, born on the same day in Poland and France, live parallel lives without knowing of each other's existence. Kieslowski's most purely beautiful film operates on feeling rather than logic — a meditation on coincidence, identity, and the mysterious connections between lives. Irene Jacob is luminous.
