Description
Joseph Sargent's taut, propulsive thriller stars Walter Matthau as the MTA transit police commander trying to outwit four heavily armed hijackers who have taken a New York City subway car and its passengers hostage — and are demanding one million dollars in one hour. Robert Shaw is unforgettable as the ice-cool ringleader Mr. Blue. A perfect 70s thriller with a legendary David Shire score.
